Our cabinet shop was established in 1969 when family patriarch, Henry Long, became a cabinet maker and took over ownership of a small cabinet shop in the Santa Cruz Mountain town of Felton, California. Together with his son Ron Long who at the time was still in his teens, Henry worked to build a business known for quality and expert craftsmanship from Monterey to San Francisco. Henry died in 1980 and passed the cabinet business onto Ron who has continued the same tradition of quality to this day.

Ron's middle son Nathan began his training as a cabinet maker when still in high school and then joined his dad as a partner in the newly formed corporation, Long's Cabinet, Inc., that was formed in 2008.  Nathan inherited his father's talent for cabinet making, and just like his dad, attends to every detail in his work with a watchful eye to assure that the cabinet shop's reputation for the finest in custom cabinets in the San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay Areas continues.
